Meeting at our offices at Filellinon 3 in Syntagma and departure at 7:00, with intermediate stops, to Pelion. For our first stop we visit the Monastery of Panagia Xenia. This Byzantine Monastery was founded at the end of the 10th century. We journey up to the beautiful mountain of the Centaurs to visit PORTARIA, an authentic Pelioreite settlement, with an unsurpassed view, cobblestone streets, traditional stone houses, great mansions, stone fountains, churches and monuments as well as picturesque plazas. We can shop for the famous spoon desserts, for which the area is famous, as well as aromatic herbs, honey, jams and tsipouro and enjoy our coffee. Our next stop is MAKRYNITSA, perched on the steep mountainside. It has been designated a preserved traditional settlement since 1980. When Eleftherios Venizelos visited it, he had it dubbed the "Balcony of the Aegean" for the exceptional view it offers of the Pagasitiko gulf. We will enjoy the architectural style of the village, the well-preserved mansions, the picturesque and masterful cobblestone streets, the approximately 60 traditional fountains and the green landscape with plane trees, beeches, chestnut and walnut trees. Leisure time for an optional lunch in the traditional taverns of Pelion. Don't miss tasting the Pelioreite spetzofai. Arrival in Volos, transfer to our hotel and check-in. Afternoon free. Breakfast and departure from the hotel. Today we will enjoy Pelion, known as the Mountain of the Centaurs. We will visit a beautiful, traditional village, Ano Lechonia. From there we will board the traditional train of Volos, the famous MOUTZOURI, and we will take the beautiful route to Milies, a historic capital village with a traditional settlement that perhaps, has the ultimate charm of the most authentically alive village of Pelion. We continue to Tsagarada. Leisure time and return to our hotel. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and departure from the hotel. Visit to the Archaeological site of Dimini. This large and well-organized settlement is of the Later Neolithic era. Return and tour to the beautiful city of Volos, which is built on the edge of Pagasitikos gulf, at the foot of Pelion and has one of the most prominent ports. Leisure time at the beach-side taverns in the port of Volos. Εnjoy your lunch at the famous tsipouradika with traditional ouzo mezes. We depart for Athens early in the afternoon with intermediate stops for coffee end the excursion.
