Meet-up at the port of Piraeus at 6:15 in the morning. Embarkation and departure at 7:25. Arrival at the cosmopolitan island of Santorini at 3:00. As the ship approaches the "black diamond of the Aegean", as Santorini is typically called, the sight of the houses of Fira hanging from the edge of the Caldera takes your breath away. It is no coincidence that this, the southernmost island of the Cyclades, has been rated as the most beautiful island in Europe and one of the 20 places in the world that you must visit at least once in your lifetime. Transfer to our hotel and check-in. After a short rest we will visit the capital of the island, Fira with enough free time to enjoy sight-seeing. The predominance of white and blue colors and the narrow streets that lead to the picturesque neighborhoods will fill us with images taken from fairy tales. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Departure for the old port of Fira, after breakfast. From Fira we will descend the steps to the old port on foot or with the donkeys or, optionally, with the cable car. From there we will board a traditional boat that will take us to the Volcano. The two small islands adjacent to the port, Nea Kameni and Palaia Kameni, have been created from black lava. Nea Kameni is younger, counting 425 years of existence, while Old Kameni counts 2000 years of existence. From the coast of the island of Nea Kameni to the crater of the volcano is a 20-minute walk surrounded by a lunar landscape. Optionally, we will take the guided tour up to the largest crater. Continuing our cruise we will head towards Thermes Piges and Thirasia and take the way back to the old port of Fira. Return to the hotel. Leisure afternoon and Overnight

After breakfast we will depart for the Archaeological site of Akrotiri, discovered in 1968 by the archaeologist Schliemann. It is a buried city of 10,000 inhabitants which was destroyed by the eruption of the Volcano. Our guided tour will last about 40 minutes during which we will see what has already been discovered and what is still being discovered every day (Excavations are still ongoing). The various murals that adorned this city will amaze us and take us back in time. After completing the tour we will visit the famous red beach, the very definition of a volcanic beach. Everything is painted red: from the rocks that spill into the sea to the alternation of sand and pebbles on the beach. We will stop to enjoy the view and take pictures and then depart for the Holy Monastery of Prophet Ilias. The monastery is built on top of the mountain of the same name, at an altitude of 567 meters and is located just 3 kilometers from the village of Pyrgos, on the south-eastern tip of Santorini. There we will enjoy the view from the mountaintop. Then we will visit the Santo Wines Winery in Pyrgos, where there will be a tour of the production area of the famous wines of Santorini. Leisure time to enjoy the wine and photograph the incomparable beauty of the caldera. Boarding the bus and departure for Oia. In Oia, the traditional Cycladic architecture is evident with the houses perched and built into the rocks. It is built at an altitude of 350 meters and is the first settlement in the Greek area to be classified as preserved for its cave houses. When the sun disappears into the vastness of the Aegean, crowds of people flock to the area to witness this wonderful and magical moment. We will walk to the castle where we will have free time at our disposal to photograph the wonderful sunset. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon. Optional entertainment, and overnight stay.

After breakfast we leave for Fira for a last walk through the beautiful alleys and the square. Transfer to the port. Embarkation. Arrival at the port of Piraeus at 11:15 and end of the excursion.
