Tour Overview

Day 1

Upon arrival our friendly staff will transfer you to your hotel. Dinner at hotel.
Day 2

Morning half day city tour includes visit to the Acropolis. Arrival at Athens, arranging at the Hotel. Tour to the Acropolis Museum, visit the Acropolis ,built in the Neolithic period, 4500-3500 b. C, an Unesco world heritage monument, (temple of Athena Nike, Erextheion) , then go to Romaiki Agora and passing through the Ancient Agora of Athens, visit to the temple of Hephaestus, at Thissio. In the evening , go to Cape Sounio. There we will visit the Temple of Posidon, built on the 44 B.C., situated in a rocky hilltop, with the magnificent view of the Aegean Sea. The Doric rythm columns are of utmost importance. See the wonderful sunset. Go back to Athens. Return to the Hotel. Overnight.
Day 03

Athens-Delphi

Full day tour to Delphi including lunch at a typical Greek tavern. Visit to the Archaeological Site of Delphi, a city being built in the middle of the 7th century to 500 b.C. Among others, go to the temple of Apollo at Delphi, the Treasury of the Athenians, the polygonal wall of Delphi, the Ancient theatre of Delphi, the Ancient Gymnasium of Delphi. Then tour the Delphi Archeological Museum. Later, visit to Arachova. We will see the Clock of Arachova, the Folklore Museum of Arachova, Sacred Church of the Presentation of Theotokos Arachova. Return to Athens Dinner at hotel. Overnight
Day 04

Athens-Allou Fun Park or adventure park

Morning at leisure. Early in the afternoon transfer to Allou Fun Park. With the bracelet that we will give you you can play in all games (except 2-3 games) as many times as you want!!! Dinner at hotel.
Day 05

Athens-Aegina-Poros-Hydra

One day cruise 3 islands with lunch (Hydra-Poros-Aegina) After breakfast depart from the hotel and drive to the harbour to take the boat for the most beautiful cruise to the Greek islands Aegina: The biggest island of the Saronic Gulf inhabited as from the 2nd mil. B.C. with two Important archaeological sites, a large cathedral dedicated to St Nectarios the last canonized Saint of the Greek Orthodox Church, a wonderfull fish market, a unique fruit floating market, and an economy based on pistachio nuts. In the island of Aegina, you have the opportunity to take one of two optional tours.
Poros: The smallest of the 3 islands, covered with pine and lemon trees, situated close to the Peloponnesian peninsula. Enjoy a walk up to the clock tower and admire the panorama.
Hydra: The "smartest" Greek island and the favourite resort of the international Jet-Set. The unique architecture of its houses, the pedestrian narrow streets full of boutiques, exclusive jewellery & handicrafts, attract shoppers and photographers. The crystal clear waters will refresh the swimmer. Return late in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel .
Day 06

Athens Kalavrita –Odontotos

Odontotos rack railway Diakopto –Kalavrita, under the shadow of Helmos mountain! Kalavrita is a place full of history and nonsuch natural beauty that attracts visitors throughout the year. For many years Vouraikos river starts its journey from Kalavrita, runs through the homonymous gorge and ends in Diakopto, on the coast of the Corinthian bay. About 120 years ago Odontotos rack railway started from the seaside town of Diakopto parallel to the river and climbed to Kalavrita through bridges and tunnels. Since then the Vouraikos river and Odontotos go together.The little train incorporated so well to the natural environment that it seems that it had always been there. The way it was constructed did not put a strain on the ecosystem of the gorge. Using stone and wood from the area the technicians' work is so perfect that someone may think that the nature worked on its own.Odontotos is not just a train. Vouraikos gorge and Odontotos rack railway Diakopto – Kalavrita is a unique attraction in Greece. An area full of towns, villages, hospitable inhabitants, unique environment and the scent of Greek life. In order to write the history of this place we need volumes of books but a trip on the train will give you a real taste. Odontotos is waiting for you.. Odontotos starts from the railway station of Diakopto and follows the Vouraikos gorge. After a distance of 22,350 metres and within 60 minutes it ends in the town of Kalavrita, 750 metres from the surface of the sea. The construction of the network started in 1889 and it was inaugurated on 10 march 1896. Since then Odontotos travels every day, all year round, whatever the weather is. Gauge : 0,75m, this particularity makes Odontotos the narrowest in the world. In Kalavrita village we visit the Cave of lakes we will have free time for shopping and lunch in a traditional tavern We return to Athens late in the Afternoon Drive to the hotel Overnight
Day 07

Day at leisure. Free time for shopping at Monastiraki square, and then Ermou street.
Day 08

Our friendly staff will transfer you to the airport for your return flight home.
Day 09

9TH DAY DAILY CRUISE (HYDRA, POROS, AEGINA)-ATHENS-Overnight

From Piraeus Port/Flisvos go for 1 day trip to Argo-Saronic Gulf. First Station Aegina, visit to the Temple of Athens Aphea built in 420 b.C. . monastery of Agios Nektarios, the town Perdika and the Old Town. Then departure to Poros, visit the Old Town, the Clock Tower, the Temple of Posidon, Monument to the Fallen Heroes. Last stop Hydra, visit the Historical Archives Museum, the Bastions, the Merchant Marine Academy, the old Town. Return to Athens.
Day 10

ATHENS-Overnight

The program includes a visit to the Athens City Museum, the National Historical Museum. Then we go to Voukourestiou Street, for jewellery and cloth shopping, and then visit Kolonaki. We take the Teleferic Cable Car Station, to go to the top of Lofos Lycabettus hill, see St. George Church. The tour continues to the Byzantine Museum and the Athens War Museum. Then go to the Megaro Moussikis Concert Hall. In the evening, a tour will be made to the southern suburbs, with two important visits to Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre and the Eugenidou Foundation Library.

Breakfast, transfer to the airport and then departure.
